Great Community Impact

We are opportune to have worked with and impacted in over 1000 kids annually since inception of our project in 2019. Four Local Government Areas in Lagos (Mushin, Oworoshoki, Alimosho, Makoko…) and recently Adenta Village in Ghana.

About Us

The Creative Colony Foundation is a community of young creatives with a sheer vision to inspire, educate and provide adequate creative opportunities for children and young adults around Africa. Established in June 2019 in Lagos Nigeria, we saw a huge need and gap in the creative space where our children are lacking the technical know-how and support to make impacts through their Art. And so, our mission has been and is to locate and develop various Creative Interests or abilities in children, be it Illustrative Art, Music, Media, Creative writing, Poetry and all forms of Art, thereby giving the child and youth a voice with their Art and helping them have lucrative value as individuals in an Economy.

We the Creative Colony started our journey from here, being a small community of Artists trying to make as much impact in the creative space by Creatives for Creatives.

And so we began and we were opportune to have worked with and impacted over 1000 kids annually since inception of our project in 2019. Four Local Government Areas in Lagos (Mushin, Oworoshoki, Alimosho, Makoko…) and recently Adenta Village in Ghana.

We seek to beat this number by next year, with an impact of 2,000+ kids annually and in 5 years from now, PROJECT 1 MILLION KIDS.

With what we have been able to gracefully achieve within 4 short years, we’ve seen hopes come alive in creative Dance, Arts and Craft, Academic pursuit, Painting and so on in the lives of these children.

And WE HOPE TO DO MORE. JOIN US ON THIS JOURNEY and let us together make a positive impact on the next generation of Creatives.
